Extremely Minnesota has been a hallmark event of the Robbin Gallery since 1996.  It is the Robbin Gallery's largest call for artists, an annual juried exhibit running from November to mid-December open to all Minnesota artists.

FOR ART LOVERS:

Join us for the Fifteenth Annual Extremely Minnesota Exhibition on display November 5- December 15, 2011.  The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours (and by appointment): Tuesday thru Thursday 11AM-4PM, Also Thursday from 5:30-8:30PM and Saturday 11AM-4 PM.  On December 15th there will be a closing party from 5-8 PM,

FOR ARTISTS:

THEME: Loosely related to life in Minnesota

ELIGIBILITY: Open to Minnesota artists only.  Entries must be original work not previously exhibited at the Robbin Gallery in a judged show.

MEDIA: Paintings, Sculpture, Drawings, Prints, Glass, Ceramins, Textiles and Photography

CONDITIONS: Artwork must be original.  Paintings must be dry.  Drawings, Prints, Watercolors, and Photography must be under glass.  Maximum width including frame is 36 inches.  All 2-dimensional work must have wire for hanging.  All accepted entries must remain on exhibit for the duration of the show.  No copies, class work or fragile work.  Work must have been completed within the last two years.  Robbin Gallery may use photos of the artwork for publicity or for Gallery records.  Submission of these works indicates acceptance of these conditions.

The final date to submit is Saturday Oct 22, 2011 at 4 PM, and all artwork needs to be delivered to the gallery on October 30th, and 31st. The Opening Reception for the show will be on Saturday, Novemeber 5, 2011, at 5 to 9 PM.   All non accepted artwork needs to be picked up on Friday November 4, from 11 to 4 PM.

INSURANCE: Every precaution will be taken in handling artwork, but no responsiblity is assumed by the Robbin Gallery for loss or damage of any kind.  Artists who desire to insure their work must make their own arrangements.

Best of Show: $300
Award of Excellence: $120 (2 awarded)
Merit Awards: $60 (3 awarded)
Honorable Mention: $30 (5 awarded)

on December 15th there will be a closing party from 5-8 PM, a great time to pick up your art !

SALES: Robbin Gallery will retain a 20% commission on sales (10% for members).  Sales tax will be collected by the Robbin Gallery and paid to the artists; Artists are responsible for paying sales tax.
