Robbin Art Gallery members can have their art work displayed at several locations by taking part in Robbin Gallery's Traveling Exhibits. 

Exhibits are open to Robin Gallery members, singly or jointly. (If you would like to become a member, please see the Membership section.)  The artist/artists are responsible for hanging roughly 12-16 pieces of their art for one exhibit.  Each exhibit runs 3 months.  Contact Chris Halverson for availability or questions 612-231-5566 Chris55428@msn.com

Robbinsdale City Hall Exhibit
4100 Lakeview Ave N, Robbinsdale

  • 17 art pieces required, you may partner with other artists.
  • Large pieces are encouraged for larger wall spaces.
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Site Contact: Robbinsdale City Hall Information desk 763-537-4534
  • Business hours: M-F 8:30 to 4:30pm
  • Access: There is handicapped ramp access in the rear of the building for a cart. Go to the information desk, they will buzz you in to review or hang art.

Instructions:

  1. Stop by during business hours to review the prior artist's exhibit if possible.
  2. About 2 weeks ahead of time you will receive an email reminder with the prior artist's contact information. Contact the prior artist to find out when the space will be available.
  3. Title cards may contain the title, price, artist name and contact information. Attach to the artwork or on the wall using mounting putty.
  4. There are a few areas to hang art: Information desk, conference room, hallway, rear office, driver's license desk and council chambers.
  5. Bring a list of your artwork and prices along with a business card to leave at the information desk.

New Hope Council Chamber Exhibit
4401 Xylon Ave N, New Hope
 

  • 9-12 art pieces required, you may partner with other artists.
  • Large pieces are encouraged for larger wall spaces.
  • Duration: 3 months

  • Business hours: M-F 8:00 to 4:30pm
  • Access: Stairs to main level are inside the main entrance, elevator on the left.
  • Call ahead to make sure the council chamber isn't in use. 763-531-5100

Instructions:

  1. Stop by during business hours to review the prior artist's exhibit if possible. Call ahead to make sure the council chamber isn't in use. 763-531-5100
  2. Please be especially sensitive to the type of art you hang here as the council chamber is televised. Nothing inappropriate or controversial please.
  3. About 2 weeks ahead of time you will receive an email reminder with the prior artist's contact information. Contact the prior artist to find out when the space will be available.
  4. Installing your exhibit - Call ahead to make sure the council chamber isn't in use. 763-531-5100. Borrow a step stool from the information desk. Get help to hang large pieces.
  5. Title cards may contain the title, price, artist name and contact information. Attach to the artwork or on the wall using mounting putty.

Rockford Road Library Exhibit

  • 16 art pieces required, you may partner with other artists.
  • Large pieces are encouraged for larger wall spaces.
  • Duration: 3 months

  • Business hours: M-W 9-8, Th-Sat 9-5, Sun 12-5
  • Access: Access from parking lot, no stairs.

Instructions:

  1. Stop by during business hours to review the prior artist's exhibit if possible.
  2. About 2 weeks ahead of time you will receive an email reminder with the prior artist's contact information. Contact the prior artist to find out when the space will be available.
  3. Title cards may *not* contain a price. They may contain a title, artist name and contact information. May also say "Pricing available at desk". Attach card to the artwork or on the wall using mounting putty.
  4. Bring a list of your artwork and prices along with a business card to leave at the information desk.

Elim Church Exhibit
3978 West Broadway Ave, Robbinsdale

  • 16 art pieces required, you may partner with other artists.
  • Large pieces are encouraged for larger wall spaces.
  • Duration: 3 months

  • Business hours: M-Th  8:30 to 4pm.  Friday - 8:30 to ?  (call ahead)
  • Access:  Main entry from parking lot. Elevator access to upper & lower areas.

Instructions:

  1. Stop by during business hours to review the prior artist's exhibit if possible.
  2. About 2 weeks ahead of time you will receive an email reminder with the prior artist's contact information. Contact the prior artist to find out when the space will be available.
  3. Please notify Jennifer prior to hanging or removing art.
  4. There are three areas to hang art: Main level office, lower level Parlor Room area and the upper Worship level area. There is elevator access.
  5. Title cards may contain the title, price, artist name and contact information. Attach to the artwork or on the wall using mounting putty.
  6. Bring a list of your artwork and prices along with a business card to leave at the office.
